Eligibility Criteria
- It is necessary for the applicant to be an Indian citizen.
- The scholarship will be awarded to students who have scored at least 50% in their previous final exams and their parents/guardians have an annual income of at least Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 8 lakh. There is a maximum income limit for each scholarship (the maximum income limit varies)
- Students studying in India in a government school from class I to class X are eligible to register for the pre-matric scholarship.
- Candidates must be studying in an Indian higher secondary school, college, or university after completing their entry. Besides covering technical and abstruse courses at classes XI and XII level, it will also cover polytechnics and other courses offered by Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the National Council for abstruse Training.

Pre and Post-Matric Scholarship Selection Process
Here are the selection criteria for fresh and renewing Pre-Matric and Post-Matric applicants:
1. For Fresh Applicants Selection Process
As the number of NSP scholarships for the few at hand in a year is fixed and limited, it is needed to lay down preference for selection.
